The responsibility of taking care of our elderly and disabled population does not solely rest upon our government but also upon our younger generations. We owe the elderly quality care, responsible stewardship of public funds, and to leverage all efforts towards better coordination and communication of resources to assist in their well being.

  • We should aggressively pursue fraud, waste, and abuse of the Medicare system.
  • We should work to assure access to quality care through the continued support of payment to providers and hospitals based on results rather than services.
  • We should work with local governments empowering them to partner with their hospitals, physicians and civic organizations to create and maintain services and resources available to the elderly and the most vulnerable populations.
