Social Security

This benefit promised to Americans must be maintained. We must continue to responsibly structure this program to ensure it is available to those who will rely on it in the future. As a responsible society we work to make sure that our elderly have the basic necessities of life, while encouraging young Americans coming into the workforce to begin planning for their retirement responsibly.

  • We have a duty and obligation to ensure expected Social Security benefits to those Americans already contributing to the program.
  • We should educate our young Americans who have not yet joined the workforce about retirement and savings.
  • We must study and present to Congress a feasible plan for the continued viability of Social Security for generations to come.
